Last night Vickie and Holly carried out a 'chick-check walk' and with the help of Seabird Heritage Volunteer Fran Hicks recorded 2 more storm petrel chicks cheeping.  

'Date with Nature walks' on Tresco were postponed due to high winds but now the sun is shining and  visitors can learn all about the project, seabirds and more 

Last night Jaclyn and her volunteer recorded the first three storm petrel chicks of the year of Gugh! Plus five more Manx shearwater chicks.

Each Friday guides point out the wildlife seen from the Scillonian ferry. This week there were four species of shearwaters seen! 

Last night Lydia and Vickie led a 'Manx shearwater chick-check walk' on St Agnes and Gugh. Thanks to those who came along. 

Thanks to the Council of the Isles of Scilly for inviting us to join 'Holiday Club' to teach the local children about seabirds and have fun in the sun! Thanks also to Tresco Gardens for wonderful hopsitality. 

Last night, we recorded 23 Manx shearwater chicks on Gugh, thats 23 chicks in the first night of the recording season-wow!

Each Friday Guides onboard the Scillonian III Ferry point out wildife seen. This week there was lots to see, 1000's of Maxies, dolphines (common and bottlenose) sunfish and plenty more. Guide David Conway event saw a prickly stick insect (not at sea, but when on St Mary's). 

This week three species of shearwater, three species of petrels and rafts of 100's of manx shearwaters totalling over three thousand birds - what a sailing!
