Today Jaclyn and Lydia joined the RSPB regional meeting and gave a project update presentation to the wider team.
2015's Seabird Liaision Group meeting discussed the results of the recent SPA survey amoungst other agenda items.
Irina Mereniuc leaves the project today. From the Republic of Moldova she came to the islands to work in hospitality, hoping to give her spare time to widlife conservation. She has worked so hard for the project and has been a pleasure to work woth. We wish you all the best in your future ventures Irina.
Today the project delivered a 'wildlife documentary'education session for the Council of the Isles of Scilly Holiday club. Thanks to all who came along and head to get involved/young seabirds to watch the film!
This was the final Scillonian sailing for the year! The total cumulative number of total animals seen since across all Friday sailings from 15th March to 30th October 2015 was a whopping 18,666! Thank you so much to our wonderful Guides for pointing out the fabulous wildlife seen to the passengers. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
