Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust photography intern Ed Marshall from 'A Focus On Nature' today leaves the project. He has done a great job providing wonderful images of the project, seabirds, wildlife, places and people. We will be posting them later this month, watch this space!
National Trust Ranger Lindsey Butterfield, and Liam Butterfiled spent the week assisting the project.They have departed the islands today. Thanks so much for all your help particuarly with the tricky vegetation identificaction skills! Hope to see you next year.

IOSWT volunteer started to assist the project on Friday and by Sunday afternoon, he had taken part in 10 different ecological monitoring surveys across St Agnes, Gugh and Bryher. Thanks for working so hard Ed!
Dianne Gaillick was visiting the islands this week and says learning that shearwaters are nesting in burrows beneath our feet was a real highlight of her visit - we agree it's pretty special!

Welcome back Sarah! Sarah spent 4 months in winter removing the rats from the islands of St Agnes and Gugh and is back to assist with surveillence reponse and the ecological monitoring of other species.
Each Friday a Wildlife Guide points out the seabirds and Wildlife seen from the Scillonian, today there was plenty to see, and when wildlife Guide Dave took a stroll at Watermill durin his 4 hours on Scilly, he saw...a leatherback turtle! Sorry there was no-one else there to witness it, but a great spot by Dave!
