We are making mesh lids for the pitfalls which we use to sample invertebrates. These lids will prevent any Scilly shrews falling into the pitfalls so are really important to have them in place. 500 just cut! We are surveying the abundance of invertebrates post rat-removal to understand the wider effects on other species.
