Today we visited St Mary’s Five Island School to work with Year 9 Music class. They have been set the project of editing footage of seabirds against music on the schools music software programme. The student whose project is the most creative and tells the best story about our amazing seabirds will have their film on the project website. Jaclyn explained to the group how the project is helping to protect our seabirds and with their help we can get this message to the world through the website. Many of the children see shearwaters and storm petrels in spring and summer when out and about around the islands, so we are sure their music compositions will capture the magic of these amazing seabirds.
Thanks to music teacher Debbie Wainwright and IT Guru Jeremy Pearson.
