We set up Trail cameras and carefully visit the burrows at night. When we see a chick popping its head out of a burrow we mark the burrow with a stick and reflective tape so we do not record the burrow twice. Thanks to all the volunteers for helping so far. It truly is a magical experience and it is fantastic to know that the efforts of removing the rats continues to protect these birds.
