Under threat...The Isles of Scilly hold 3,000 fewer pairs of breeding seabirds than 25 years ago
They learnt about the common terns which are currently nesting on Samson (for the first time in 5 years!) and how we need to protect them and other nesting seabirds and waders.
- they will move away from birds showing signs of distress
- they will move away from nests and chicks so they don't get trampled
- they will watch our wonderful birds from a safe distance whilst having fun on the island
