Today Lydia and Holly have been making monitoring wax. They melt candle wax with flavours (chocolate, aniseed etc) and if a rat retunes it will be attracted to the smell, take a bite and their teeth marks will be detected. These colours should be nice for the community volunteers for checking this summer!
