Spalding Associates comprise of a team of four ecologists who carried out ecological surveys of land birds, invertebrates, Scilly shrews, rabbits and vegetation to monitor and assess the impact of the project on these species. Data on the responses of different species to the rat removal operation will be highly useful in informing the development of future projects.
The team trained the project staff, volunteers and partners to carry out the monitoring programme, they also worked closely with the community of St Agnes and Gugh.
Details of the results can be found in our Layman's Report
