The Isles of Scilly Bird Group was formed in February 2000 to represent and promote the interests of a growing number of resident and visiting birders. The ISBG is a membership organisation with a ‘friends of ISBG’ for non-residents. The ISBG has its own website providing news, information and photographs and produces the annual Isles of Scilly Bird and Natural History Review. The ISBG also makes all the arrangements for the October birding season (trails, log call, etc) and is heavily involved in local projects in support of conservation of the environment.
