Thanks to all the volunteers who assisted the Project over the five-year period, we couldn't have done it without you!
Now the project is in the legacy phase (Project end December 2017), St Agnes community members are registered as 'Seabird Heritage Volunteers' carrying out biosecurity checks to keep the islands rat-free. The Partnership continues to support ongoing biosecuity, thanks to Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust for fundraising to support ongoing costs. The RSPB will support an incursion team to assist any necessary incursion response. RSPB staff and volunteers will come to carry out baiting for a month.
We continue to thank all the volunteers who are keeping the islands rat-free to protect important seabirds.
